Product Description

Properties of quartz glass

1. High temperature resistance:

Quartz glass has high temperature resistance type, its softening point temperature reaches about 1730℃, can be used at 1100℃, can be used in a short time of temperature can reach 1450℃.

2. Corrosion resistance:

Quartz glass has good corrosion resistance, quartz glass almost does not react with other acid substances, good acid resistance is 30 times of ceramic, 150 times of stainless steel.

3, good light transmission performance:

Quartz glass has good transmittance in the ultraviolet and infrared spectrum bands, visible light transmittance reaches more than 93%, and in the ultraviolet spectrum, transmittance can reach more than 80%.

4. Good electrical insulation performance:

The resistance value of quartz glass is ten thousand times that of ordinary glass. It is a very good electrical insulating material and has good electrical properties at high temperature.

5. Good thermal stability:

The thermal expansion coefficient of quartz glass is very small, can withstand drastic temperature changes, quartz glass heating to about 1100℃, put in room temperature water will not burst.
